Excellent En-Fab Incorporation:
We are Excellent En-Fab Incorporation, a renowned process & construction equipment manufacturing hub in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

An AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) block plant functions as a facility for manufacturing AAC blocks, which constitute lightweight, precast building materials. Manufacturers produce AAC blocks by blending sand, cement, lime, gypsum, and a small quantity of aluminum powder. The unique production process involves creating a mixture, pouring it into molds, and allowing it to undergo a chemical reaction that produces hydrogen gas, leading to the formation of numerous tiny air cells within the material. These air cells give AAC blocks their characteristic lightweight and thermal insulating properties.

An AAC block plant typically consists of several key components and stages:

For raw material preparation, mix sand, cement, lime, gypsum, and aluminum powder in precise proportions to create the raw material mixture.

Slurry Mixing: In the slurry mixer, add water to the raw material mixture for creating a slurry with a consistent and uniform composition. Thoroughly mix this slurry to ensure homogeneity.

Pouring and Molding: Pour the slurry into molds of different sizes and shapes. The molds may have a lining of a release agent to make it easier to remove the blocks once they have cured.

Curing: After filling the molds, move them to an autoclave, which is a large pressure vessel. Inside the autoclave, the blocks undergo a curing process that involves steam and high pressure. The heat and pressure trigger a chemical reaction known as autoclaving, which causes the aluminum powder to react with the other ingredients, generating hydrogen gas. This gas creates the characteristic cellular structure within the blocks.

Cutting and Shaping: After the curing process, take out the blocks from the molds and cut them into precise dimensions using wire cutting machines or other cutting techniques. If necessary, shape these blocks according to specific architectural or construction requirements.

Drying: Once cut and shaped, the blocks are typically allowed to dry before they are packaged and ready for distribution.

AAC blocks are renowned for possessing several advantages, including their lightweight nature, energy-efficient characteristics, fire-resistant properties, as well as excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. People use them across a broad spectrum of construction applications, spanning residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
